WICHITA,Kan (AP)– Spirit AeroSystems will furlough about 900 per hour staff members who deal with the Boeing 737 program, the business stated Wednesday.
Spirit will execute the 21- day furloughs starting Monday through July 6, the Wichita Eagle reported
The furloughs are required since of the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the airline company market and the unpredictability surrounding the go back to service of the 737 Max, Spirit spokesperson Keturah Austin stated.
The business uses around 13,000 individuals full-time in the location.
